Tulsa Technology Center Locations
Riverside Campus
Opening in 1999, Tulsa
Tech's Riverside Campus has been pivotal in supporting Tulsa's historical
role as a major aviation center and defining its emerging role as a major
cyber center. Riverside not only houses aviation programs approved
and fully accredited by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), but also
includes instructional areas to serve the exploding cyber security and internet industry.
Additionally, the campus is home base to several health related programs such as Radiology Tech, Health Science Tech, Pharmacy Tech, and Lab Science Tech, as well as technical programs in Broadcast Sound Engineering and Project Lead the Way Pre-Engineering.
Unique in many aspects, Riverside is located adjacent to R.L. Jones Airport
near Jenks and is the hub of the Tulsa Aviation
Education Alliance, a partnership that includes Tulsa Technology Center,
Tulsa Community College, and Oklahoma State University.
Both articulated programs, this consortium of technical and higher education allows students to advance from the secondary to the doctorate level through the alliance partner schools. Additionally, the OSU Center for Health Sciences operates hypobaric and hyperbaric chambers at the Riverside Campus, offering unique research experiences on the effects of high altitude and below sea level conditions on the human body.
Designed as one of four Regional Cisco Training Academies in the state, Riverside is positioned to serve the 300 plus telecommunications-related businesses in the area through market-driven programs that lead to industry-recognized certifications and lucrative employment or simply serve as the foundation for more advanced training.
