Reaching Out Through Community Service

Tulsa Tech’s vision “to develop a world-class workforce” for our community not only shapes our education and training programs, but also inspires the many services we provide in the Tulsa area. One such example can be seen in The Eighth Floor, a partnership that supports collaboration which nurtures and sustains educational improvement within our community. The Eighth Floor takes advantage of the diversity and expertise of instructors from a wide variety of disciplines, grade-levels, and institutions to develop a community of self-directed, life-long learners. Other Tulsa Tech services that enrich our community include our English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, Project HIRE (Helping Individuals Reach Employment), services to persons with disabilities, and special courses for displaced homemakers, single parents and single pregnant women. We’re proud to serve the Tulsa area with community services as we work to carry out our mission “to prepare people for success in the workplace.”
