Financial assistance is available through several options at Tulsa Tech. The Financial Aid Office is located at the Career Services Center, 3420 South Memorial Drive. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm. Please call 828-5280 for financial aid information.
*Note: The payment of tuition and fees must be made two weeks (10 working days) prior to the start of daytime (full-time) classes or admission will be denied. Students applying for financial assistance through grants, sponsorships, waivers, or scholarships should begin the enrollment process well in advance of the start of classes. These types of financial aid can take six (6) weeks or longer to process.
High School Career Path Scholarship
High School Career Path scholarships have been established to encourage secondary students to maintain enrollment in a Tulsa Tech program or program cluster for the 13th year or the year following high school graduation or next available class.
Pathways Scholarship
The Tulsa Tech Pathways Scholarship provides free tuition to an eligible recipient in any Tulsa Tech full-time program. The Pathways scholarship does not apply to the cost of tools, books, uniforms, insurance, instructional materials, certification/licensure exams, or other associated costs. Career and Technology Student Organizations
Scholarships Tuition-waiver scholarships are available to current student members of CTSO's who place first, second, or third in state CTSO competitive activities or who are elected as CTSO officers at the state or national levels. For further information regarding CTSO tuition-waiver scholarships, contact a campus CTSO coordinator.
Honorary Scholarships Recognizing a Sending School Superintendent
Honorary tuition-waiver scholarships have been established to recognize the following retired sending school superintendents for at least ten years of service and support of career and technology programs:
- Dr. Clarence G. Oliver Scholarship -- Broken Arrow
- Dr. Wendell A. Sharpton Scholarship -- Sand Springs
- Mr. Leonard Wood Scholarship -- Berryhill
- Mr. George Hayes Scholarship -- Bixby
- Mr. Dennis Chaffin Scholarship -- Glenpool
- Mr. David Martin Scholarship -- Liberty
- Dr. Darrell Gwartney Scholarship -- Catoosa
- Mr. Dale Johnson Scholarship -- Owasso
Applicants for these scholarships must be high school graduates from the respective school districts. The amount of the tuition-waiver shall not exceed $2,500. For further information and applications, please call the Financial Aid Office, 828-5280.
Oklahoma Army and Air National Guard Tuition Waivers
Eligible members of the Oklahoma Army and Air National Guard may be entitled to a tuition-waiver for a full-time program at Tulsa Tech.
Tulsa Tech Education Foundation
The Tulsa Tech Education Foundation provides funding to eligible students for tuition, books, uniforms, insurance, instructional materials or other associated costs. Students must be in attendence for 30 days and in good academic standing before applying. For more information click here, or call 828-5280.
Federal and State Financial Assistance Programs
Tulsa Tech participates in the Federal Pell Grant Program and the Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grants Program. Tulsa Tech does not participate in the Stafford Loan, Plus or Perkins Loan programs. For more detailed information, please call the Financial Aid Office at 828-5280.
Financial aid is also available through programs administered by the Student Services Department including the Careers Unlimited Training Program, the Displaced Homemaker/Single Parent Program and Project HIRE (Helping Individuals Reach Employment).
The Department of Education Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) may be completed on-line via the web at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Tulsa Tech’s school code is 012572. Complete the 2009-2010 FAFSA if you will be enrolled after July 1, 2009.
